I found a sketch in Minh's gallery I felt like painting this evening. Just a quick thing to take a break from work, the colors took about 3 hours, go here to see his lines.I'm still sort of on hiatus because my satellite internet doesn't get installed for another... mm week or so? I don't remember, but I'm on dial-up at the moment. Yes, some places do still have dial-up. On the up-side, it's absolutely beautiful here with the leaves changing. I live just in front of some woods and I went for a walk the other day and saw a partridge~! Beautiful scenery and clean air beats fast internet any day.... well, thats what I'm telling myself anyways.
Umm.. I like how her face turned out.

Absolutely fantastic job painting her face, the background is beautiful, vibrant but at the same time pastel'd contrast against her light blue dress. You paint skin so fantastically, I think the best aspect of this paiting is her face. It has such a silvery feel to it.

Very very well painted. The face is extremely well worked, the highlights really bring out the texture and details. Her eye is really bright and brings your attention to it when you look at her face. The attention to detail is pretty fascinating.
