Oh, hey. What? This looks really good!!
I have a lot of good things to say about this piece. In my opinion, shading is on point. The background adds to the art. The pants have texture, and the anatomy is great. All the wrinkles in the clothing are perfectly placed. The white outline is wonderful and the focal point, which I assume is the face, stands out just as it should. I can feel kind of what the character is feeling- in which case I get the vibe that they're a handsome friggin kid

There isn't a lot I would change about this piece! Only a few little things that really are barely noticeable.
First thing is that something weird is going on with his cheek on the right. I don't know what happened there, probably just a little lineart malfunction.
The face does look a teensy bit messy. There are some splotches and lines that would really clean up the drawing if they weren't there.

I don't love the way the tail overlaps the arm. If I were you (which I'm not) I would make it a little darker and behind, like you did for the other ear. I feel like if I were him, standing with my tail pushed in front like that would be uncomfortable.

That's really all I have to say. Otherwise, I like his hairdo. It looks RAD.

i've actually expected something else from this but i think i like it much more than my previous vision (i don't see the character as trying to be schmexy and stuff but a good change is needed sometimes)

actually the only thing not right is the left eye which isn't like the right one (the right one has two colors and the left one is simply blue) but i don't see that as an issue, still i just love everything from the pose to the coloring to the style to how you drew the shirt to the ears to just aaa i really really like everything in here <3
