Here are random sketches of some of the Windows-tans. Surprise!
Front and center is a Windows 7-tan design from the OS-tan imageboard at +Nijiura+ (nijiura.jp). There is another Windows 7-tan design at the lower right.
At the top left is 95-tan posing with her katana. Next to her is 95 OSR 2.1-tan , a steampunk-style inventor weeping over how her latest invention blew up on her... again. There's ME-tan looking cheerful as always and Homeko (XP Home-tan) reading some yaoi.
To the left of Windows 7-tan is a chibi 98SE-tan wielding her bottle opener of doom, and it's not used to open bottles either!

For my next set of OS-tan sketches, I might draw some Apple-tans or another assortment.

Fufu! I've been getting behind the times on OS-tans so don't know if there is a generally accepted Windows 7-tan, or whether fanartists will end up making a gajillion variants of her like they did with Vista. ^.^'
Love the pouty Secchan and ME-chan with her larger-than-average cowlick.
But of course...
