Old design and backstory: Goosefeather new look by kattren on DeviantArt

The next character I got from the Bowl of Destiny is another Redraw character, Goosefeather. I drew Goosefeather a few times but his design got a few changes over time and I didn’t like how his old design looked, so I decided to give him a Redraw and I updated his back story. Now, let’s talk about him:

Goosefeather is a light gray Tom Cat Animatronic with ruffle fur, some dark and lighter gray fur, blue eyes, a few whiskers and some geese feathers sticking out of his pelt. When Goosefeather and his twin sister Moonflower were born, their Clan was invaded by Hunters. Most of the Clan escaped, including Goosefeather’s mother, Dasiytoe, a tiny Goosefeather and a tiny Moonflower, however, Goosefeather’s father, Rooktail was one of the unlucky Animatronics who couldn’t get away. After the Hunters left, the remain Animatronics of Thunderclan clean up their Clan and mourned the deaths of their friends and families that didn’t escape the Hunters attack, and when Dasiytoe was trying to get over Rooktail’s death, she noticed something was different about Goosefeather than Moonflower, his eyes were open, they weren’t half open, they were both wide open. Dasiytoe didn’t know why his eyes open after a few hours after his birth instead of the next day like many Animatronic Kits do, but she didn’t think much about it at the time. However, over time, Dasiytoe started to get annoyed by Goosefeather because he would randomly scream after staring off into space for a while and he acted a bit odd from his sister. And one day, when Goosefeather and Moonflower were roughly three years old, Goosefeather had one of his screaming fits, and that was the last straw for Dasiytoe, she just snapped and she yelled at Goosefeather “ Why Can’t You Be NORMAL!?”. Everyone was shocked that Dasiytoe just screamed at her own son like that, but she didn’t care, and after that day, she started to not show that much affection towards Goosefeather. Goosefeather never understood why his mother did that at the time, he was just sad that his mother treated him differently from Moonflower. One day, after Dasiytoe snapped at Goosefeather again, he walked away from her, not paying attention, and he accidentally bumped into the leader of the Clan at the time, Gloomystar, she wasn’t upset when he bumped into her, she just stared at Goosefeather for a long time. When Dasiytoe realized what Goosefeather did, she was embarrassed and right before she could pull Goosefeather away from Gloomystar, she actually stopped Dasiytoe, and took Goosefeather with her for a moment. Goosefeather didn’t know why Gloomystar pulled him away for a moment, until she talked to him for a while. She told him that they both had something in common, they both had the Blessing of Starclan, and at first, Goosefeather didn’t like the fact that he was different, but Gloomystar told him he should be proud of having the Blessing, because not many were born with this Blessing. Goosefeather took her advice to his heart, and he kept his head high, even though many thought he was a bit crazy. But Moonflower supported her brother, and whenever Goosefeather stared off into space, she would actually join him from time to time. However, when both Goosefeather and Moonflower were twelve, Goosefeather started to lose sleep because he kept on being visited by spirits form Starclan and getting visions of the Future, and Dasiytoe started to have enough of this. She didn’t believe that Goosefeather was blessed by Starclan themselves, and she was about to doing something to Goosefeather, but he got a prediction before she could do anything, and he rushed out of the way of his mother and ran towards Gloomystar’s den, she wasn’t there. Goosefeather then blurted out that something terrible was going to happen to Gloomystar that night, but no one listen to him, and Dasiytoe was once again embarrassed about her son, and right before she could say anything, a few Animatronics came back with Gloomystar’s body, she was dead, she fell off a cliff over a lake and she drowned. Everyone looked at Goosefeather and asked how he knew something was going to happen, and he told them that he gets visions of the Future, and everyone started to treat goosefeather with some more respect, well, almost everyone. A few years passed, Goosefeather became a Medicine Animatronic and he was probably one of the best, but then Dasiytoe got sick, and she refuse the help from Goosefeather, she didn’t even want him to be near her during her time in the Medicine den, and she sadly passed away from her illness. Although she treated Goosefeather terribly, he was still sad about her death, but Moonflower was a bit more destroy after their mother’s death. A few weeks after their mother’s death, Goosefeather tried to cheer up Moonflower, but she just ended up snapping at Goosefeather, letting out her anger at Goosefeather, and she said something that destroyed her and Goosefeather’s relationship. She told him that he wasn’t special, and that Gloomystar only told him that was because she was like him, they both came out wrong. After hearing those words, Goosefeather felt his heart break into millions of pieces, and from that day on, he stayed away from Moonflower and from everyone else, he kept to himself, and he only talked to everyone if he had a vision. A few years passed, and Goosefeather came across a tiny Kit, which was Rippleclaw, he was out of the Nursery and he came up to Goosefeather. When Goosefeather got a good look at the small Kit, he got a vision, a horrible vision. He saw something dark in this Kit, he was going to one of the worse things that happened to the Clans, and when Rippleclaw tried to play with Goosefeather’s tail, Goosefeather snapped at the Kit and yelled at him to leave him alone. Ripplestar’s mother wasn’t happy that he did that and she was about to hit him when a Tom Animatronic who was the only Half-Breed in the Clan named Bearglow stopped her. Goosefeather didn’t really like Bearglow, he always gave him a bad feeling when he was near him, but he did thank him for helping him. But before Goosefeather could leave the area, Bearglow asked him if he could do something for him because he did something for Goosefeather. Goosefeather didn’t want to do it at first, but he did go with Bearglow to see what he wants from him, and it was to see if Goosefeather can see the Ghost of the Grays and from the Place where No Stars go since Goosefeather could see the spirit of Starclan. Goosefeather wasn’t happy one bit about this, and he stayed far away from Bearglow after what he did. After twelve years passed, Moonflower had her first litter, she let Goosefeather meet his two nieces, Bluefur and Snowfur, he was happy for Moonflower, he just nodded his head with a small smile towards her, but when he passed his brother in-law/Moonflower’s mate Stormtail, he glared at him, because he always saw Stormtail flirt with other Shes in the Clan once in awhile. As time went on, Goosefeather would get close with Bluefur, and she was the only one out of her siblings who always saw Goosefeather as someone who talks for the Starclan since he can both see and hear ghosts and he mostly tells everyone what they told him. Almost five years after Moonflower had her second litter, something told Goosefeather to go somewhere a bit farther from Thunderclan, where he found what was left of what looked like a entry tree that someone was living in and what was left of a She-Cat Animatronic, who was attack by something. Right before Goosefeather left, he saw something move under a blanket he went over to it, and there he found a three in a half She-Cat Animatronic, and right away, Goosefeather knew that that She-Cat Animatronic who was dead was her mother. Goosefeather did look around for a minute, seeing if anyone else was around or known that She-Cat Animatronic, but no one was there, he was about to leave that young Cat Animatronic, but she followed him a bit making a few meowing noises, and eventually, Goosefeather decided to take the young Animatronic back to Thunderclan. When everyone saw that Goosefeather brought this young She-Cat Animatronic, they didn’t exactly know what to do, but they did try to take care of that young She-Cat Animatronic, but she didn’t really like being around anyone but Goosefeather. They asked Goosefeather multiple times if he can take care of her, but Goosefeather wasn't sure if he should take care of her, until he saw her staring at something with a blank look with wide eyes. He then looked over and saw a Spirit in that area, and that young Animatronic was looking right at it, and it hit Goosefeather, she also had the Blessing. Goosefeather then decided to take care of that young Animatronic and he decided to adopt her, he also gave her the name Clearsight. Over the years, Goosefeather started to open up a little to others, but he still didn’t talk to Moonflower. He also got a few other predictions, mostly how a few Animatronics would die, and a very special vision. A Blach and White She-Animatronic would look evil in the eye and stop it. Goosefeather wondered who this Animatronic was, he even asked the other Animatronics who also had the Blessing if they knew, but they only knew what he already knew. Nearly a year passed, Goosefeather got a glimpse of this one Animatronic with a good friend of his, he also was one of the few Animatronics who respected Goosefeather a lot, Toby. Goosefeather then got a little closer to them, and he got a strange feeling, she was the one that vision was talking about. Goosefeather then went to Slenderclan to meet this Animatronic, who was Marionette, and his suspicions were right, she was the Animatronic in that vision. However, after Goosefeather met Marionette, he got another vision, which was about Whitewhisker’s death, and he told both Marionette and Toby that someone was going to die later that week, and he was right, later that week, a few Animatronics from Slenderclan and Slenderman himself came to Thunderclan to tell everyone about Whitewhisker’s death. After a couple of years, Moonflower was attacked by someone or something, and everyone was shocked because Goosefeather actually didn’t get a vision for this. He didn’t understand why he didn’t see this, and he was sad after his death, although he didn’t say or show it, he did still care for his sister. Goosefeather would get other visions about a few events about what would happen in the Future and he would somewhat tell others about them.
