later versions (late-2000's) replace 4x mk 95s with 4x mk 38 25-mm mounts and sps-67 (C-band) with visionmaster (s-band)

deep modernization replaces the SPY-1F with a 5x5-cell SPY-6 mount beginning in the mid-2020's
