Description
1. drew the rough sketch. forgive my habit of using very thick outlines for rough sketch.2. as always choosing skin to color first.
3. and then hair.
4. then the clothes.
5. fixed up the rough coloring.
6. painted the background very roughly.
7. fixed up the background and ta-daa

I can't even figure out how you people do it. How do you paint skin, so it's so smooth.
Whenever I try to give skin a color, it looks very flat and unattractive. ｑο½₯οΎοΎ*(>Π΄<)*οΎοΎο½₯ｑGeez, I hate painting ;-; you're my god O_O

It's because skin isn't just one flat colour. Places where the skin is thinner lets the blood show through, and is therefore pinker, ect. Some good examples hereΒ gurneyjourney.blogspot.com.au/β¦

hahaha! it takes patience. you could be a genius with oil painting but then when you go to a new medium it's like just 'errr'. I'm taking Graphic design for college so whether I'm naturally talented or not-40 sketches every week ....
