Yeah, I'm a fan myself, and I still run into to people who are rude, and can get very annoying if you ask me, but, I just let it happen. I once got yelled at by so many people, just for saying, "I think the trailer for four looks crappy, but the game over all looks good." I mean, yeah, I said the trailer looks like shiz, but then, I gave a compliment...

At times I was a very big Fan of FNAF, but the fandom was too much like you said. I didn't like it and the game is not that catchy for me, now.
But I still like the characters of FNAF.Β

Mostly the fandom, but for me there is no sense in making several games, about the same thing :V course there is story, but most of it is made up or guessed by the fandom and less is Cannon. Sure it is exiting, but doing the same thing for ours seems just lame to me.
