There was a jungle where a bunch of native people in the village, Bernice was born in a jungle village with her parents, Chief Marlin and his wife, Amelia.

Not so long, King K. Rool and his Kremling Krew are explore to the jungle were they steal from abandoned village since the poachers invasion years ago, He founds her in the basket and so He'll going to adopts her.

When she was around 29, she become a great adventurer, although, She wasn't ruthless like him, she's just sarcastic, she became Mario's close friend and she had a crush on Wario too.
