This had never happened before. The hand that gripped his gun trembled uncontrollably, but for what reason? Why couldn't he shoot?

It was that damned Autobot, and it sickened Drag Strip to the core. He was practically digging into his processor, and all it took was simple words and questions to make his resolve crumble. "Why do you hold yourself in such high esteem, anyway?" The Autobot would go on and on, and Drag Strip just couldn't shoot! He couldn't stop that stupid Autobot from running his mouth even as he stood there, completely nonchalant despite the weapon trained on him. Drag Strip didn't dare to think that the words were actually getting to him, but apparently the paralysis taking over said otherwise.

He was proud, triumphant and superior in every aspect of the word. So why did he even care about what some lousy mech had to say?

Cookies to those who can guess who the Autobot is! I think this particular guy would be good at something like this. It's all mind trickery. In regards to Drag Strip, I figured he was pretty similar to Slingshot in a lot of ways, but I wondered if he was capable of feeling the same insecurities if someone pushed the right buttons. How he would react, is beyond me. This is just my take.

I wanted to do a whole Stunticon drawing but I wouldn't have enough time to complete it within this week, so I settled for something smaller. I also wanted to include some writing because I've been abandoning my writing projects far to much, and need to get back into some sort of routine again. That said, it's going to be tough doing any creative stuff now that I have studies to get back to. This could be the last of my uploads for a while. I'm pretty happy with how much I was able to do in these past few months, though. Also want to thank everyone sticking by. Your lovely comments give me life!
