I chose the vector medium since it is truly the most versatile digital format, and it is currently my medium of choice.

In studying Nvidia, I was inspired by the heart of the business, which is developing circuitry on many levels and tapped my background as a product designer to devise an instrument that 'translates' the octave of music to the spectrum of light and communicates the eight levels of human consciousness (intangible) through the visual light spectrum now represented in a tangible pure form: Speaking visual. I have applied the universal principles of geometry, an ascending classification modeled after the periodic table, and the Pythagoras theory of eight, to organize the instrument, I've reduced the overall concepts to their purest form. The geometric and color principles result in a classic, sci-fi and robotic pop art setting.

This vector's design is multi-faceted and multi-layered just like Nvidia circuitry, and I decided to base my design on the simplest form of a circuit headed by a universal symbol, the light bulb. It struck me that the Nvidia logo would work perfectly as the inner filament of the light bulbs.

The eight light bulbs ascending eight levels and representing the eight levels of human consciousness the highest level being cosmic; one side intelligence (bright bulbs), one side reality (dull bulbs). There are eight geometric shapes (the shapes are a numerical value that progress based on the number of sides until they reach the octagon) formulating human expressions that tie back to the contest theme: Speaks Visual. These shapes further correlate with the bulbs, the keyboard, the circuits. The keys turn the circuits on and off. I chose the keyboard because of the fact that musical notes are based on the individual frequencies of the planets and they are also the mediating circuits that unite the eight levels of consciousness intersecting the visual correlation to light: Whole notes are connected to the side of reality, and the minor keys are connected to the side of intelligence.

This instrument is essentially a 3D chart/tool and a symbolic color code. It could be used to enlighten or condition the consciousness.
The Design Legend is a follows:

Based on Pythagoras theorem of eight.

Concept of periodical table/geometrical organization.

Light bulbs represent the human mind; the universal symbol of an idea.

Light bulbs are organized in ascending order of the levels of human consciousness " circuits;" one side, intelligence, one side, reality.

The pyramid steps represent human evolution, the highest step/level is cosmic.

The individual colors represent the spectrum of light, which culminates in either white light-the full spectrum or darkness-the absence of light.

8 Cosmic planetary circuits connect to the levels of consciousness.

Eight musical notes and keys are based on the individual frequencies of the planets. I have included each planet's symbol.
