It is no matter.  Though we do not fully understand human psychology, we were able study their technology thoroughly.  Their EEG measurements are much to primitive to verify the depth of my intelligence.  This body's nervous system was crafted to ensure that.  I do not believe they will significantly deviate from expected procedure based on mere speculation.'

'The sheer callousness of Dr. Rengen! He keeps pushing for more invasive exams to be performed on Emerald, stopping just shy of performing a Necropsy on it. He had to have become Head Researcher via political means, for his insistence that the low EEG readings are indicative of low intelligence are circumstantial at best. There are FAR better ways to test for intelligence... I'm going to set up some simple problem-solving tasks for Emerald to do in the testing area, and maybe mention the possibility of one of the other Researchers 'opening it up to see what make it tick' while Emerald is in earshot...'- From the notebook of Dr. Rose Roki

'Rose has begun administering tests of my intelligence.  This is fortunate.  It would seem to indicate she views me as some sort of beast, rather than an intelligence rivaling her own.  I have played along, pretending to be interested in the puzzles but largely struggling with them.

And yet, she mentioned very loudly the possibility of my dissection.  This was almost certainly an attempt to provoke a reaction from me - they have yet to keep any cell culture from this body alive for more than a few hours, and still have too much to learn from its biochemistry to risk destroying me.  That may mean she is suspicious of my ability to understand her language, though.  I can only hope she was not able to glean my worry of that possibility from whatever cues she has learned to spot from me.

However, if this is the last transmission I make, I would recommend abduction of large groups of humans - perhaps twenty at a time, all strangers to each other, and ideally not speaking the same language - and place them in the middle of a remote area.  Their interactions should be monitored to identify any sort of nonverbal cues they use for communication.  It is true that such an experiment would cause a great deal of publicity, especially if repeated, but the data acquired could greatly assist further research.'
