With the last page, i experimented with drawing the characters with the wacom tablet. It was fun but took me an eternity. So I decided to go back to drawing the characters using good old fashioned mechanical pencil and paper and then scanning them in im going to continue to do the coloring with wacom now (it is indeed nicer than using the mouse) but yes, the series is being drawn in pencil again. It gives that nice oldschool animated movie look thats hard for me to get with digital lines ^^let me know what you think! I hope you enjoy.Bgs and layout by

This looks really good drawn the old way, some how it looks more real. With the digital lines it lost some of it's uniqueness. Glad it's going back to pencil lines!

I love blood spill in the third panel, that one I have no idea why it's just a really great pose, and also the sixth panel, I love the way her paw is over the rock like that. Great backgrounds too Esda, I love the paw prints.

Wow Blood seems so playful now. Nice to see a different side of her, they look like real close siblings. I notice you said your working on character developement when you replied to someone, I think this really rounds Bloodspills character out.

In the fifth(?) panel i think Swift looks absolutly amazing! I love the look in her eye as she looks at Blood.
Also...how much younger is Blood then Swift. She seems alot younger here. Im sure its just because she never talks.

I love how you've made Bloodspill appear so "simple" for lack of a better word. Her jumbled speech definitely shows that she's a wolf that's move about action than words. The last panel made me laugh with "probably isn't because you ask me." Apparently Swiftkill isn't as confident in her decisions as Blood is.

I love the style change/evolution I see here. Bit less cartoon, and more of it's own thang'. Beautifully done on the lizard, and I like how we get to see more of Bloodspill's personality here. Is she like brain damaged, or have some sort of issue? Just guessing from her speech, seeing as it seems childish.

I personally liked the way the figures looked on the tablet. But hand drawing is cool too because the characters expressions are much more pronounced.

whenever I see a page I'm always inspired to do a comic of my own... if only i could ever finish working out a storyline, XD has to be the hardest part for me. 8C

An inteersting opening of perspective of Bloodspill in this one. She never speaks, usually, but I saw your's and Erin's comments back on the first page - except when she's around Swiftkill. I noticed she was rather silent, and figured she was a bit more open with Swift, but I had to read everything twice to be sure it was actually Blood's style of talking and not me missing words ^^
I like how you've kept it kind of hidden until now - now we see how she really is when comfortable ^^

wow Kay your coloring has improved ten fold! It can tell you're having a much quicker job for overall coloring so you can spend less time on the grueling details! Nice work!
