Description
This is an adoption sheet commissioned by ~little-bash That means that they recieve first pick of any, or all of the adoptables! However, if you follow the rules below, you may be able to have any of the ones they don't pick.1: All applicants MUST fill out an application. The application is more detailed than the previous one. You must comment describing the pony you want, and with this application. A star means that the information is optional.

2: These ponies are not a "first come first serve" Like my previous ones. These ponies will be handed out to the people who gave the clearest, most detailed, most well thought out applications. So it doesn't matter who gets there first. So fill out your application carefully for a better chance of winning the pony.
3: This sheet of adoptables will have applications open for one week. (7 days) then I will close the adoption, and review the applications. I'll pick the best app, and message the user that they were picked.
4: Once a user has been picked, they have three (3) days to write a short story, or draw a picture of the pony to "claim" it. If they fail to do so, I will pick the next best application, and repeat the process.
5: I will IGNORE any comments that just say "I want # 4 please." Fill. Out. The. Form. If you want a pony, you MUST fill out an application. Otherwise, you miss out.
6: NO BASES. I'm serious, guys. Bases/generators are fun and all, but I want to see you put some effort into these characters. I put effort into drawing them for you, and I expect you to return the favor.
7: 1 person, per pony, per sheet. No multible adopts for one page UNLESS they are the commissioner of the sheet.

(As a side note, I added sexual orientation to the list of information because I, as a christian, do not believe in or support a sexual relationship between anything other that one man and one woman. This is my belief, and I would ask that if you do not think this rule fair, please pass this adoptable sheet by. I am not trying to offend, but I would not feel comfortable giving someone a character I made if the character themselves are going to represent something I strongly oppose. Again, I mean no offence to anyone. I'm just trying to save people time if they mark their character as anything other than heterosexual, because the applcation will not be considered for adoption.
Thank you for reading, and I appreciate those who will follow the rules. Again, if you do not like this rule, I ask you to please pass this sheet by. Thank you. )

These are all pretty cute and I'm half tempted to try to get #5. He looks like a "Buckskin" to me. Not the actual horse but I'd name him that.

Alright now, there is no need for so many f-word's. Kayla has a right to say whatever she wants, SHE put the effort into these designs, SHE used HER money to buy markers to make these wonderful creations, so SHE has a right to feel offended if someone where to make one of these homosexual.
If your just gunna swear a lot over someone's obvious hard work, then you need to learn something called manners sweetheart.

Well, I'm sorry to hear that, and I don't mind you expressing your opinion, but I also don't appreciate swearing on my page, so if you like you can re-post this comment without the swearing. This comment, however, I will have to hide for the enxtreme language.

And so to protect my religion, you're going to swear at me about how I'm not protecting people who "can't chose" if they're homosexual or not? I beleive you've just displayed a double standard, ma'am/sir. I'm not hating homosexuals. I simply don't support them with flying rainbow flags of joy. I believe that homosexuality is a sin, and I do not support it.
Similarly to someone who doesn't support, say, smoking. I'm not running about town, grabbing cigars from peoples mouths and stomping them out and yelling at them. It's more like I own a house, and if you want to come to my house, you put out your cigar before I let you in the door. These are my adoptables on my page, and if I decide I don't wish for something I do not approve of to be associated with my work, I am at a complete right to politely decline such offers.

DeadlyHarvest In reply to Kayla-san [2012-11-10 02:30:16 +0000 UTC]
okay... so why is it a sin? just wondering if you could explain the reasoning behind it?
How can you possibly compare human life to cigars? Is your self-esteem so as to bear false witness against your neighbors?
π: 0 β©: 1
Kayla-san In reply to DeadlyHarvest [2012-11-10 13:21:40 +0000 UTC]
The Bible, which I believe as a Christian is the holy word of God, clearly says in mulible placed that homosexuality is a sin.
Lev. 18:22, "You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination."
Lev. 20:13, "If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltness is upon them"
Rom. 1:26-28, "For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. 28And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper."
And I certainly don't compare human life with cigars. I am comparing the moral of respect, which you claim I don't have when I add rules to my adoptables that are contrary to what you believe is right. Just because you, and most of the world think it's alright doesn't mean I do. A lot of the world thinks it's okay to do drugs, but if you believe it's wrong, they can't say "HEY! we think it's alright! And you're messed up (to put it in far kinder words. XD) to think it's not! That's offending me! Now you better quit it, and let me smoke weed in your bathroom, cause it's not fair for you to deny me what I like!"
And I have no clue where you're going with false witness, because that means lying. And so far, I'm preeeetty sure I haven't lied. |D

People who have flat noses, or are blind or lame, cannot go to an altar of God
~Leviticus 21:17-18
wow, guess we'll skip that one
Leviticus 19:19
βYou shall keep my statutes. You shall not let your cattle breed with a different kind. vYou shall not sow your field with two kinds of seed, nor shall you wear a garment of cloth made of two kinds of material.
wow, there goes most of your clothing.
1 Timothy 2:9
likewise also that women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly attire,
Take of your wedding rings cause those are sins too.
Timothy 2:15 only women who have children will be spared hell
wow, guess your infertile aunt is going to hell
Men are worth more than women - Leviticus 27:1-7
look, you're an object.
I suggest that you look a little closer at your bible if you're going to throw these passages at me. A person cannot 'put out' their sexual orientation like a cigarette or drugs. So don't compare them. I suppose i could sit here and continue arguing with some backward righteous prick, but I think i'd rather have sex with my girlfriend. Later.

Never try using bible verses against someone who actually reads and understands them.

Kayla-san In reply to DeadlyHarvest [2012-11-10 20:00:49 +0000 UTC]
Well, in argument of that first verse, Old testament followers of God often figured virtue was equal to physical traits, like circumcision, and keeping away from certain meats. Those laws were changed when Jesus came in the new testament and repeatedly touched deformed/injured people.
And the second is harder to explain, since the words in the bible used in that passage, I believe, have no english translation. BUT from what we understand, it's not so much a literal "you can't mix cotton and polyester, honey." so much as mixing different, bright colors to attract others in a prideful way. Kinda llike skimping around in a thong bikini today.
And if you read the rest of the verse, it continues: "9 I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, 10 but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God." So once more, it's not so much a literal "don't you wear gold!" So much as "don't let that be what you adorn yourself in. Try clothing yourself modestly, and let your good deeds shine through." Much more accepting, I believe.
And the next verse is actually a reference to Genesis, where God told Eve that she would have pain in childbearing. See, "13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner. 15 But women will be saved through childbearingβif they continue in faith, love and holiness with propriety." So it's not a barren women go to hell command. Though many people take it out of context, so I can see why that's confusing.
And I notice you didn't quote the actual verse on this one, which is interesting since you did that with all the others. But, you only stated what you thought the verse meant, with no reference. Anyway, the verse in it's entirety is "The Lord said to Moses, 2 βSpeak to the Israelites and say to them: βIf anyone makes a special vow to dedicate a person to the Lord by giving the equivalent value, 3 set the value of a male between the ages of twenty and sixty at fifty shekels of silver, according to the sanctuary shekel; 4 for a female, set her value at thirty shekels; 5 for a person between the ages of five and twenty, set the value of a male at twenty shekels and of a female at ten shekels; 6 for a person between one month and five years, set the value of a male at five shekels[f] of silver and that of a female at three shekels of silver; 7 for a person sixty years old or more, set the value of a male at fifteen shekels and of a female at ten shekels. 8 If anyone making the vow is too poor to pay the specified amount, the person being dedicated is to be presented to the priest, who will set the value according to what the one making the vow can afford."
And this is perfectly true, in it's correct context. This was in connection with making a "vow" to serve the Lord. And by serving, they mean actual work. SO a man in the prime of his life would be worth more than a woman, because his work was much harder than a women's. Similar to a Manager being paid more than a clerk in a fast food place. The money wasn't based on the person, so much as it was the work the person could do. And in those times, a woman couldn't work with the same, physical strength a man could. It wasn't appropiate, or practical.
So, there are my answers to your questions (or rather, statements.) and I hope they proved useful in this debate. C: And if we're going to talk about looking more closely, I suggest the next time you want to "throw" Bible passages at me, or anyone, you don't pick what parts you think sound best for your argument. Read the entirety ot the text, and in it's proper context.
And, again, let me say I think it is a choice. God wouldn't condemn someone who couldn't physically be anything otherwise. But, to temporarily say that it IS a choice, for the sake of argument, I will say again that I am repsectfully saying a certain trait cannot be used on my work. Similarly to saying I wouldn't allow any work of mine to be turned into a pedophile. I've gotten no requests asking for such, so I've found no need to point that out. I have, however, gotten MANY requests about making a homosexual character (which is against my beleifs) so I have added a note as a warning ahead of time. I simply will turn down a request that's made to be homosexual.
And I suppose you could argue with me, but I think you and I both have far better things to do with our time. Though in all honesty, calling names (or, in this case, "bearing false witness" about me, as you said earlier.) doens't help your case for being in the right in the least. I've been quite civil with you, so calling names, and making rude comments that you know will be offensive to me seems very very poor in taste.

I hope ~DeadlyHarvest really reads/thinks about the explanation you have provided. It is a thorough analysis of the basic biblical context in which these oh-so-often-times-twisted-out-of-context verses should be read and analyzed. Maybe they will be able to answer some of their own questions now! I hope that if they want to argue with the Christian way of life, they will first make an attempt to understand the life we lead in the first place.

I think I'll take all of them a part from number 5....he's very cute, don't get me wrong, but he's very similar to another character of mine, so I think someone else would give him a lot more love :3
