Description

These four ladies were living in the Outlands during Scar's reign over the Pridelands. Their old pride was taken over by a coalition of male lions, and these ladies were the only ones to escape, but not without two of them falling pregnant.

They settled in the Outlands, the only place they could find that wasn't occupied and had just enough food for them to make it to the rainy season. They were lucky enough to settle here just as Scar's reign was coming to an end. They were ecstatic when it started to rain, which meant they had made it.

It wasn't long after, that two lionesses and four cubs had encroached onto their territory (Zira, Asha, Shahaba, Vitani, Kovu, and Nuka). One of the lionesses was heavily pregnant. The Outlanders were, at first, hostile towards the invaders. But the charisma of their leader "Zira" won them over quickly. She told them stories of her beloved Scar, and the Outlanders became enthralled. Then Zira told them of the usurper Simba.

Zira and Asha were able to manipulate the Outlanders into joining with them, though Asha went missing shortly after giving birth and Zira was seen with a torn ear...

The four Outlanders had names from their old pride, but Zira had given them new names to symbolize their joining together.

The two pregnant lionesses are the mothers of Tazama and Kesi
