In the end of last year, Yun Hsing, the final supply ship of lighthouses in Taiwan , was decommisssioned. A university will build a room for her, but I didn't hear of any news about her locaton after her decommisssion ceremony. Is she still in her old dock, or she has been sent to the new place? I knew non until the last two days.

I went to her home city to see MS Queen Elizabeth for the first time . The night before the meeting, I walked around the harbor to see other vessels living or temporarily mooring here, suddenly, noticing here was a ship whose name on the bow had been paint white like her hull. It was Yun Hsing! She was still here!

When her decommission ceremony was being hold, I couldn't be there to see her in person. I thought I'd missed the last chance to do it, but now I was standing next to her!

She's much larger than I imagined, so is her beautiful funnel. It looks like a short sturdy thick column. Her lifeboat's color scheme is gray/silver-red-dark blue with Yun Hsing's name on it.

She looked like a brand new ship in the ceremony, but now the weather here affects her obviously. This city Keelung is called "the Rainy City", which has 200 days of rain in a year. The paint on Yun Hsing's hull starts being washed away. She's already an old ship. Hope she will be able to move to her new home soon.
