Goldfish are known to have a memory span of only 3 seconds.

You may come across many people in your lives, who; like the goldfish have a very short memory span (or they act out so). You may have known them for ages, but there comes a time when they act strangers.

Not sure why do so, but I guess in my case, it has mostly do so with the fact that my very existence in their lives does not bring about any benefit to them any longer.

Even if you were to acquaint them with who you are, and how you know them; the expression on their face would read out loud: "You... I don't remember!"
