A little late, but I wanted to try something more different this time!
Pinkie Pie can be a team killer sometimes. Which is fun usually! But what if Equestria was a little bit more realistic with its little law of physics?

Well, even with our laws of physics, a light that bright and close to her face would be pretty hot and probably temporally blind her. Also, it would take upwards of 30 or so minutes for AJ to get her night vision back. But, yeah, I like how if you just looked at this comics pictures, it'd be silly and lighthearted, but if you just read the text, it could seem pretty dark.

What makes light "hot" is the infrared spectrum. A 650nm laser pointer is blindingly bright but does not feel hot due to total lack of IR in its spectrum.
When you get burnt by UV light, you do not necessarily feel anything as it is occurring but you do feel the aftermath hours later when the dead skin starts drying out and the affected areas become hypersensitive to heat.
