2019 | Traditional Sketches with Digital Color | Contest Entry

Here is my entry! I had a lot of fun with this, though it was challenging to try and figure out what characters to use and how to portray the theme. I went with Lelouch reaching up for the Zero Mask to show that he has returned to take up the role again, while Suzaku wears the cape to show that they are bound by the identity. The mask has beams of light behind it and some simple white feathers flowing down around it.

I'm not sure what role Shirley has in the new movie, if any, but she is my favorite so I had to include her especially because she was always very important to Lelouch. I'll always feel that she had his heart, even though CC is the most popular choice. I hope you all enjoy!
