It's about time this lovely femme got a proper reference sheet and bio! Goodness gracious have I been wanting to do this for Larimar for the longest time but just never got around to it until now. I revamped her and her story A LOT with the help of my lovely friends! I hope you guys love the changes she's gone through!

Height: 25 ft. [About 3/4th Soundwave's height]

Personality: Larimar is what one would call, the perfect model femme of Cybertron's Golden Age. She's quiet, polite, does what she's told, and almost never steps out of line. Very delicate and graceful in her movements. She treats others with seemingly unlimited kindness and she has an absolutely brilliant mind, which is thanks to having worked with Alpha Trion for so long. She usually will stay out of a fight unless she absolutely given no other choice and even then she would play defense rather than offense. There has been only one time she has been rebellious and that was bonding with a mech by the name of Soundwave, without her family's approval or knowledge.

Weapon(s)/Tools: Blasters, Forcefield/Shield Generator, Holographic Computer, and Multiple Limbs
Abilities: Larimar is able to download any and all types of data from systems of all kinds (including other bots), allowing her to access them from herself or safely store the information. With her holographic computers she's able to work from anywhere at anytime. Her forcefields are her main form of both defense and offense, able to use them to protect from attacks and she has figured out creative ways to use them. She's also a very skilled and graceful flyer, as long as she's able to focus decently enough. Despite having them, she does not have a single clue how to use her blasters and would prefer to never have to use them at all. She has a total of 4 pairs of arms though most of thee time she just has one out, however she is very skilled with all her arms and is able to use them all simultaneously with no problems at all and they also grant her the ability to crawl up walls almost like an insect.

Bio/Origin: Larimar was born in Iacon to a high class family during Cybertron's Golden Age and from a very young age she was taught exactly how a femme must behave. Eventually she grew up to what bots would consider by then "the perfect femme" and worked for Alpha Trion in the Iacon Hall of Records. She loved every moment of working for Alpha Trion and soon came the company of Orion Pax, a bot who Alpha Trion also took under his wing. The two of them became good friends very quickly and worked together in perfect harmony. A few stellar cycles later, would Larimar meet an intelligence agent for the Grand Council who went by the name Soundwave. The femme was smitten with the mech and though he couldn't exactly express his emotions all to well, he was able to eventually express that he was smitten by her as well. The spark between them eventually turned into love and before she knew it Soundwave was asking her to be his mate. Sadly, Larimar knew that her family would never allow her to be with a mech that they didn't pick out for her. So instead of telling them and not worrying about her soon to be arranged marriage, she bonded with Soundwave in secret and they were happy. Many stellar cycles passed and still no one knew about the two sparkmates being together, Larimar becoming slightly bolder and even considered eloping with her mate so they could finally start a family. However, when a mech by the name of Megatronus showed up with ideals and speeches of wanting to challenge the Council to help bring equality to all Cybertronians. That is when things started to become rocky, especially when Soundwave became one of Megatronus's main supporters.
    When the Great War broke out, despite not wanting to pick a side and just be with her mate, Larimar's family forced her to join the Autobots and remain working under Alpha Trion. Distraught and unable to break the news to Soundwave face to face, she left him with only a message of goodbye where he had asked her to meet him. For the remainder of the War, Larimar continued her work in the Archives, not a solar cycle passing by without a sense of sorrow in her spark. She would mourn most days when she was alone, desperately wishing she could see her mate and be with him again. Though when she gained the company of Smokescreen as her new companion, since Orion Pax had left and eventually became Optimus Prime, and things turned a little brighter. He gave her the perfect distraction in the form of teaching him how the ropes worked around the Hall of Records and also giving him history lessons every so often.
    During the finally solar cycles of the War, Larimar had helped Alpha Trion with preparations, knowing the fate that was to finally befall their home planet. She helped Alpha Trion stored an omega key within Smokescreen before the Cons reached the Hall of Records. After that, Alpha Trion had uploaded all Cybertron's important data and history into Larimar's database. That way when the day came that Cybertron would possibly be restored, the Iacon Hall of Record could be restored as well. She was immediately sent off Cybertron in an escape pod, unsure of the fates of Alpha Trion and Smokescreen after that.
    Many years she would be in stasis, still holding the information she must get to her old friend, though after getting tangled in a meteor field, her pod was set of course and she crash landed onto another planet where she was found by another Autobot named Caladrius who, after she explained the situation, decided to get her to Optimus so that Cybertron's history could be protected from anyone who would seek to destroy it.

Extras/Notes:
  • She was seen as a prize and many mechs had attempted to court her, even Smokescreen developed a crush on her while he guarded the Hall of Records and kept her company.
  • She typically will only use only two to four arms, the third pair is when she's extra busy, and the fourth are for the event she looses all her arms in an emergency.
  • Although she does not wish to be an Autobot, she isn't exactly sure she'd want to join the Cons either and would preferably go Neutral when the opportunity arises.
  • Her name "Larimar" is indeed inspired by the stone larimar, a rare blue variety of the silicate mineral pectolite found only in the Dominican Republic, in the Caribbean.
