There is a fine line between stalking and searching. If he really wanted to he would have done so since the first time they met. But at the same time he didn't know that she was the Princess until at the end when he thought she was a regular citizen. He expressed himself in the beginning of how he felt through the song which was and still is to be considered very romantic in a "old school" sense. And she was infatuated by it. So how can it be stalking if the feeling is mutual? Sorry to bring it up again but SW is one of my most favs and how people can be so blindly by this is baffling.
