Every kid including I the 14 year old kid knows that lions are no fun because they don't move up and down. When i was little i was really bummed because at the Boise Idaho zoo they also had a carousel and I though that the Giraffe moved up and down but it didn't so I made my mom pay for me to ride it again, and that time I rode a zebra. XD
I love this picture though and carousel animals seem to fascinate me because of all of the different patterns that there are.

The carousel is at the zoo in Louisville and each animal is dedicated to patrons of the past. I love the designs and all the amazing realism with them. I try and take pictures of all the different ones I see because like you i am fascinated with the differences between the look and patterns
