The protector of the Kobold Relic. Currently being paid and nurtured the kobolds for "protecting" the relic from the enormous amounts of threats. Nobody even knows about this relic. The humans of this world think of him as a magician, or fake magic, for his performances. Being called a magician is a disgrace which had Caedel disowned. Cardel stays in the relic's cave and has never gone far from it to this day.
