Description
Took this old picture a couple of years ago at Normandy. It's an old WWII German Battery Gun enclosed in a heavily fortified bunker. These guns were along the coastal line of Omaha beach and had a range of 10 miles. I used a Genesis Chinon 35mm camera with telephoto zoom lens. I scanned it and then cleaned it up in Adobe Photoshop CS2.In the original picture it was dull and it was a gloomy day, no blue skies, just cloudy and gloomy there some sun light trying to break through the clouds.
I gave the picture of more of an artistic view to it, more life to it. Am still pretty new to CS2, I usually just work with Photoshop 5.5, but I decided to try the newer version for once.
I still have alot more projects I never finished, got side tracked of being a dad to my two children who never give me peace of mind, but I sneak a little time to myself.
I hope everyone enjoys this picture as much I enjoyed taking this picture and working on it.

What I think is funny is that some people use the old fortifications as storage sheds and/or garages.

i like how well built those fortifications were and how quickly they were all constructed and in a gloomy way find it cool they still exist-some of them-in one piece to this day,,,
