Love the strong contrasts and great dynamics in this piece! Although the colors are actually rather warm, the rain and atmosphere in this dark scenery makes it appear pretty cold, repellent and also a bit depressing. This way you managed to set up a very interesting conflict (my opinion)
There are so many details to discover in this work like the little black cat which I didn't see on first glimpse, just like the bicycle that's almost completely covered in shadows, as well as the flower in the girl's hand - let alone all those doors, windows and other structures on the buildings - and rain drops! ;D
