Guess who finally watched the new (as in 3 months old) Spiderverse film! It sucks that I didn't watch in earlier because WOW, the visuals were so stunning and the plot so well executed that: A) I think I may may given myself dry-eye in the cinema from not blinking enough and B) The first thing I did when I went home was to sit down and draw this piece over the duration of about 5 hours with no breaks.Instead of trying to directly imitate one of the Spiderverse styles to my work, I tried to stylize my style In a way that would fit into the Spiderverse film. Idk how much I worked, but it was a hell of a lot of fun to do.
So anyways I you haven't seen it yet WATCH IT, it's amazing (that is a pun)!
Anyways, I think I'll have to withdraw my statement about not drawing OC's anymore as this is (again) one of them. I'll try and make sure to change up which ones I'm drawing/painting/illustrating for variety though. I might post the speedpaint on my channel, but I'm probably going to try and release another animatic first because YouTube algorithm.
