Well I was having a hard time deciding on what the final color version of Orquist would be, so these are the other variants of his coloration. The top image was the first idea, but I didn't care for that much blue, the middle one just looked a little off and I thought I'd see how a reversed pattern would look with the third version. Let me know what you think and if you like any of these versions better then what I chose for the final version.Related content

My vote goes for the middle one! Gonna have to agree with Patches here and the others, that seems to show off the most detail that you have put into him.

I still like that middle one! The coloring on the tail just works the best for me. The top one is alright... But the darker tail just takes away too much detail... And the bottom one takes away even more detail, in my opinion. Middle one! Middle one! That's the one I like. But then again... This could be a race with several different colors markings.
As for a background... I just see nothing but water surrounding him... and maybe a few rays of light peaking through like he's close to the surface... And perhaps a few bubbles. But other than, I don't see too of a detailed background... ^_^

I like where the middle color idea is going. Really has that killer whale look going for it. Maybe try some different coloring for the tailfin.

I like the top one ... I think because I can still clearly see the line art in it and the contrast between the white and blue really emphasizes the curvature of the body. Very well done I likes it lots!!!!!!!!
