Yes, comments are nice. It doesn't have to be alot, but it tells you a lot more about the strengths of a picture than a fave alone
I personally really enjoy commenting. I can spend hours on the 'newest' page and just comment on everything I find

Curly fries are the best thing in the whole damn world. And I normally hate anything potato-y unless it's mashed potatoes that are so loaded with spices that you can no longer taste the potato.

Oh, don't hate it. I love all of your stuff. You're really good! It's a lot of practice to be this good with markers. If I had a scanner, I would be more than happy to show you my marker art (which currently does not exist) so you could see how much it sucks and finally give yourself the self-appreciation you deserve.
