DeiSakuismynoncanonfetishDON'TJUDGEME! D:This wasn't executed very well. What's going on between Deidara and Sakura isn't clear at all, so I'll have to explain. One reason why I love DeiSaku (in fanon only) is because I believe that Deidara would intentionally try to piss off Sakura just to see her angry (Sakura can be quite "explosive" in her rage, no?
). So in my drawing, Sakura and Deidara are attending a fancy dinner party. Deidara is bored by the party's lifelessness and lack of passion, so he not-so-slyly grabs Sakura innapropriately. Sakura knows what he's trying to do, and she tries to maintain her composure (which won't last long 
).Sakura isn't supposed to look evil; she's supposed to look irritated and somewhat amused at his behavior.
They are both over 21 in my drawing and can therefore drink legally (although Deidara probably wouldn't care).
The wrinkles in Sakura's dress make nooooo sense.
A suit vest is the sexiest thing that a man can wear.

I blush at the thought. But it's basically the fic I put the most effort into, so I'm glad that someone actually recommended it to you! It takes place in a WWII European setting, since that's what wanted, and as it turns out it wasn't so crazy after all.

D: Don't defend yourself for drawing this! If you want to draw DeiSaku, then by golly, draw it! I know some people who draw yaoi uninhibited, which I quite loath, but I just ignore it if I don't like it. If someone gives you junk about this, just ignore them and pray for the depressingly low social IQ that they must possess in the face of your magnificence. o3o
I can see a part two to this picture: Sakura punting him onto the table, and then breaking the table over his head, grabbing his cheeks and giving him a huge, wet kiss. And then she'll leave him there in a puddle of champagne! 8D

I know that I shouldn't have to defend myself, but I also know that over half of the anti-DeiSaku club watches me. Hopefully they won't flame me. I think I lose a few brain cells every time I read crap like that.
Haha! I can see that too. Of course, Deidara would dodge and elude her first so that he can have a destructive show, but she would get him eventually. XD

You should make a collection of all of your flames (especially the ones with humorous spelling) and the make a massive post of them. I've seen those before, and they're always funny. And it'll make you feel a lot better when everyone makes fun of them for being mean.
And the anti-DeiSaku club can go sit in a corner and suck its thumb, because DeiSaku may be crack, but it is crack in its pure and wonderful essence. There. I said it. >

I haven't been flamed very much actually, but *Kamden has gotten quite a few flames on her DeiSaku deviations.
And their favorite pairing (SasoDei) is just plain crack. SasoDei just makes absolutely no sense to those of us who like the characters for the canon selves. I just hate how SasoDei takes both Sasori and Deidara so far out of character that they become pretty much unrecognizable.

Yeah, I don't like SasoDei at all; it just doesn't make sense. In Naruto, no yaoi pairings would make sense, because that's how Mr. Creator made his characters.
Of course, DeiSaku doesn't make that much sense when I admit it to myself. Abendrot wouldn't last more than a page before Sakura blasted Deidara's brains out with a shotgun, which is how her canon, American self would react when faced with an enemy. Speaking of which, do you like it? <

Sasori and Deidara just aren't compatible. Not at all. I've seen some claim their compatibility by saying that Deidara is "attracted to people who remind him of himself", and Sasori just "craves physical attention and is beyond caring what gender it comes from" ([link] ). Even if that claim about Deidara is true (no indication of him being nearly as narcissistic as she tends to claim), Sasori is the polar opposite of Deidara. Their only similarity is a proclamation that their jutsu represents true art, and their ideas of art opposed each other. In personality, no one could be further from Deidara. Sasori was dead emotionally, and Deidara prized emotion and feeling. And if Deidara hated Gaara, Sasuke, and Itachi for their lack of emotion and passion (as he clearly stated in the manga), it can be easily inferred that Deidara felt the same way about Sasori. As for Sasori, he outright told Sakura that his body feels nothing and that emotions and physical acts are useless and pointless. He doesn't crave physical attention. It serves no purpose. He criticized Sakura for doing pointless things, so why would he indulge in pointless activities that can't even mean anything to him? I see SasoDei as no more than a crack pairing that people mistakenly hail as canon.
I love Squeaky, but I have to disagree with her here.
As a romantic pairing, DeiSaku wouldn't have happened. I would have LOVED to have seen a battle between them or just to see them interact (like in this amazing DeiSaku oneshot ) . Of course, canon Deidara would defend himself or dodge and then provoke Sakura just to piss her off
I haven't had a chance to read it yet. D: I've been really busy with this never-ending, fruitless job search (and with unintentionally sleeping in), along with other things. I promise, it's on my to-do list. I'll let you know when I read it.
