Description
This is a gift for Biali , I know she's working on an alternate universe where all planets are habitable, so I thought I'd put together a design for the alternate world of Jupiter.

These guys are the Ventum Tauri, or "Wind-Bulls," they're extremely large and naturally muscular to combat the high gravity and harsh conditions on the cold-desert climate of Jupiter. Their skin is rock hard and extremely difficult to pierce. Their tiny eyes and shielded ears mean less acute vision and hearing, but are shielded from the constant sandstorms whipping around the hostile deserts. Their noses are extremely acute, but their nostrils can be closed almost entirely to prevent sand from obstructing their breathing, and a duct beneath their shielded ears also helps them breathe.

Visitors to Jupiter must reside in specially constructed, pressurized visitor centers. The Tauri frequent these to meet with interplanetary acquaintances, and they can also leave the planet for a few days at a time from these terminals to visit other places for trading and other activities. There is a sexual dimorphism among these guys. The females are somewhat larger, and stouter as opposed to muscular as they live more sedentary lives tending young.

Tauri are pacifists; extremely slow and docile by nature (though not at all unintelligent), you may be hurt by them accidentally if you are not wary around them (chances are they won't notice your presence unless you announce yourself, so be careful) but they would never hurt anyone intentionally.
