My submission of 2019 Paladins Community Skin Contest: Haunted House Grover (skin)I actually struggled for Grover's idea a lot (because this was much more than "clothing" unlike other human characters), but I finally managed to get an idea. (I was inspired by
Another hard thing was that I didn't want to make him as "too scary", since Paladins is rated for PEGI 12, and also I didn't want to ruin Grover's father-like(?) image. So I (tried) made him to look more "friendly" to young people, like the one from a fairy tale.
(I'm still not sure if I drew his side views correctly...)
I couldn't thought about his dialogues (because I'm not good at English jokes...), but I'm thinking his voice would be "Halloween-spooky", but "not too scary", since I wanted to make him as more "friendly" like from a fairy tale instead of a horror movie. (Because Paladins is rated for PEGI 12 and I don't want to scare off young players.)
Sorry for the writing; I don't have a Photoshop so I had to write down letters by myself.
The whole progress took much longer than I though (about 9 days (?) including research), but I'm so glad that I made it in the end before the deadline.
To developers, thank you so much for offering such opportunity for us!
