Trying to keep up my motivation to draw and maintain the state of being inspired as best as I can, but boy oh boy it is hard when you get a long weekend for Australia Day celebrations, with work taken off! But here I am with a new piece, and I've returned with the hair obsession once again haha.
I've always wanted to draw a piece with floating, glowing goldfish, not really sure why. The idea's been playing at in my head for a while now, so I'm glad I finally was able to get it out of my head. I've done glowing fish and glowing birds so far, but glowing goldfish was cool!
Honestly, I really struggled on this piece. You know that frustration when you know what you want your final product to look like? But the steps of getting there are just nonsensical and an absolute mess? I redid the sketch over and over and over and even played with colours, just colours, for hoooours! But I'm really happy and satisfied with how it turned out, all those hours of freaking over the tiniest little details paid off hooray.

It sucks though, because you put the effort to reply, and I want to put effort as well to show my appreciation. But then frkn uni and studies nad life gets in the way and it sucks because all i want to do is draw and enjoy dA and have fun and talk, but then I have to study and do boring assignments and be stressed and wake up to 8am classes.
sigh. That's also my rant, if you didn't realise, for entering uni again haha.

It's just a hard thing to keep up on both, learning and having fun on dA qwq I feel you!

Well, currently the biggest thing in my life right now is this monumental decision. Right now I'm studying physio, and I enjoy it, but art is my dream and I can barely find time to draw...
I feel like it's time to think about what's important.
Do I continue studying physiotherapy... or switch into studyign animation and chase my dream....

Hmm, yeah, I believe that this is really a hard decision... To be honest, I struggled into studying Gaming Arts, Design and my current one - Theatre- and Mediascience. But the first one, which I really, really, REALLY wanted to do... well... it costs a lot of money, which I don't have, that's why I needed to give it up ._. And the second... well, I though, that if I pressure myself into drawing, I wouldn't enjoy it anymore... I have a friend who studies design and stuff and she already drew some things, that she only gets C's and... I mean her drawings are AMAZING and it really stresses her out and... I don't think I could make it, because I would lose my interest because of the stress xDD
I mean, you can wait until the semester is over and think about it, if you really like the physio. There are many people in my place, who switched one or two times already^^
My dad even told me for the Gaming arts, that I should get a normal job first and if I'm still interested and got the money for it, I can still study it and I believe that's the best thing for me.. (:
I hope you'll get your decision soon and that's the right one! I believe in you! x)

That's one thing that I was worried about. If i did art for a living, would I hate it?
But the thing is, the more I draw, the more I love it and the more happy I am. I'm happy when I draw. I get to be free and do soemthing that i love (hopefully forever).
When I'm working or studying and I don't get the time to draw, it really stresses me out

YEAH! I haven't made that move yet to find an apartment, but hopefully sometime next year just for a learning experience. Of course I'd find a job or two to help pay and survive!!
Well, if i lived in the city, I'd be an hour away as well. A trainride if anything haha. So I'd visit every week easily, it's just I want to experience living independently so I can grow necessary skills yknow!!!
