Silence, is Golden.
It takes a certain type of patience, strength and courage to be able to speak no truth, no lies, no words. In the best of times, but also in the worst of times, silence is all it takes. We can sometimes find comfort, and also sorrow.
So instead, look into my eyes, and tell me what you see.

HAPPY EASTER! Hope you had an awesome weekend and long-weekend for some lucky few!
And from this long weekend and mid-semester break from university, I managed to find some time for myself to draw this piece. It's been sooo long since I last painted digitally, almost two months! So I'm feeling a little rusty, but hopefully I can keep it up again
PS - side question: I've been suggested here and there to start recording my drawing processes as speedpaint videos, and I was just wondering if anybody would be remotely interested in it if I were to start recording and putting them on my youtube channel?

To be honest, I was actually thinking about startin to do weekly livestreams just for funs to do sketches and practices and have a chat and hang with peoples! But then again, I don't know where to start and I don't know who would listen HAHAHA.

Also, I loovee the way you use gradients--do you just brush them in or actually use the gradient tool (but with smaller selections)?

I don't know how it works either!! I know my friend uses picarto to livestream like everyday or something, which is sick. I reckon I want to try livestreaming at least each week! Would be so cool hahaha and fun!! YES!! HANG OUT WITH MEEE
I brush them in! Using gradient tool sometimes tends to be a little frustrating because it produces such a clean and unnatural transition, like it's very linear or perfectly rounded so it feels a bit off. Airbrush at a low opacity to blend all the way!!!

ohhh, there's so much i can say about this one! the colors in this work really well together; the gold is very carefully drawn and it draws the eye to the piece more strongly that a lot of works i've seen. the way the hair is connected by also not at the same time, almost making waves, is really well done! the antlers are very nice (i like glowy things) and the slight amount of graininess in the lines makes it feel more alive!
