For it is plain as anyone can see,
We're simply meant to be
I started getting into this 'Tim-Burton' mood, and ended up watching his films like The Corpse Bride & The Nightmare Before Christmas leading up to Halloween, so it was only natural that I felt like recreating and commemmorating the festivities inspired by one of my favourite films. For those unfamiliar, this is the iconic ending scene of the film, The Nightmare Before Christmas, where Jack Skellington realizes his feelings for Sally. Of course, it's my own interpretation of the scene, which I thought was a lot warmer and touching, despite the eerie-cold macabre setting of the film.

I really liked working with composition, because I really do love working with flow and rhythm, and the iconic 'spiral hill', I just couldn't resist working with a bit more of a surreal spiral/flowing composition
