I've been working on the guts model

in the first pic you see it in blender render in the second you see it in cycle. why does he have all this black spots? even if you apply the textures it won't go away.

can anyone help how to fix it?

Update: figured it out. It was not a flipped or recalculated normals issue. it only needed for me to remove the doubles it worked
