Disclaimer: I do not own the Guitar Hero series, but I do own the characters in these screenshots!

This is the first in a series of screenshots of my original Guitar Hero characters, as seen on the game itself. I know the images themselves don't look so good in the screenshot department... I used a digital camera for each one, because I don't have computer monitors that double as HD TVs and stuff, so they'll all look a tad bit blurry. Still, they're a good reference on certain details on my original characters that aren't seen on the hand drawn fanarts. I'll also note some of the differences between them, because I see the drawings of my manga-styled characters as the true images of the Shining Nova. The cool thing about these screenshots is that I made all my characters on the game before I drew them on paper. So now you can see where I managed to get all the details in my drawings.

First up is Lead Guitarist Slifer Inferno, as seen in the game. As you can now see, the print on Slifer's T-shirt is an orange skull and crossbones. This print is also on the manga-styled version, although it's obscured by his guitar, Red Lightning. Another difference is the headband. In the manga-style version, I make it more like a headnand worn by those who practice karate (It looks much cooler that way) I even modified the hairstyle of the game version a bit when I drew the manga-styled version. Take a look at the screenshot of Slifer's head and face to get the idea.
