The Night Owls Company belongs to humanity's Phoenix Guard Division and specializes predominantly in scouting, local counter-terrorism, and quick infiltration. Due to the rise of the insurrectionist group, known as the Talon Insurgency--making a rise and waging war on the United Human Federation on Earth--, The Phoenix Guard has constantly been forced to deploy the Night Owls on more and more suicidal scouting missions. Despite emerging victorious on every mission, many amongst their ranks do not make it back home. On very rare occasions are the Owls deployed into active Combat Zones and used like infantry, like their fellow Salamander and Alpha Wolves Companies. In those instances, the lightly armored Owls experience the most casualties. Even still, with their expert scouting and infiltration skills, the company has been one of the pioneers for success against the Talon Insurgency. For without them, many of the other Guardian companies would have suffered near-total annihilation during their deployments--thus, the Owls coined a new battle cry, "The Worst is Yet to Come!" Under the command of Captain Turner, the Night Owls remain undaunted in the face of adversity and aim to serve humanity through all of its hardships.
