I only came up with a few sketches so far but this is already p fun. Especially cuz it involves Eddie!

Freddie is the oven answer to Eddie's rice cooker. Besides being more boxy and having a front-flip lid, I figure he'd be a lot spunkier than Eddie. Sharper eyes, steel-toed shoes, and dashing instead of waddling. He tries his best to look cool.

Eggie goes in the complete opposite direction, with a rounder egg-shape and a timid personality. Getting hit would cause her to pop open and lose whatever she's carrying, so she tries her best to carefully bring it to Mega Man (and skedaddles afterwards). Probably too similar to Beat with the wings and feet?

Gary would be much more carefree, unaware of danger and happy to interact with Mega Man. I wanted to make another design that played on Eddie's lottery function, and started with a slot machine. Then I remembered these lotto thingies (garapons??) and figured the shape would make more sense for something with a face + it still had a neat handle. The best part is when his handle is being cranked, his face would rotate around and look silly.

UPDATE!! 3 new additions:

Lucky - Another take on the lottery idea, this time with a slot machine. Put his facial emotions on reels which seems like it could be neat/silly. As for where the items come from... his hat could flip open, or maybe there's a back dispenser?

Tone - Thought about having him be another animal buddy, to better match Beat and Rush. This is an attempt at an amphibian friend!

Chord - Fish are the best, and are a popular type of pet just like birds, dogs, and cats. I did my usual own weird thing at first, then tried to make something that'd match closer to the other Mega Man assist animals. At first I thought it was too boring, but giving him tired eyes and having him puff up then shoot out items made him a bit more interesting to me!

I really would appreciate feedback and suggestions to help push me in the right direction for the final piece. If you like any of these designs, or think I should go crazier (maybe something that isn't a flippy head with legs??), please comment!
