"You do kind of resemble him," Diana added.
"The same blue eyes," Vladimir said.
"The Romanov eyes!" Diana added.
"Nicholas's smile..."
"Alexandra's chin!" Diana said, taking Alex's chin in one hand.
Alex jerked away and swatted her hand, his hand ending up in Vlad's.
"Oh, and look!" He cried happily. "He even has the grandmother's hands!"
Alex quickly let his hand drop and the two people continued leading him.
"He's the same age, the same physical type," Diana continued as they stopped in front of a painting of the Czarina Alexandra holding an infant Alexei.
"Are you trying to tell me that you think that I am Alexei?" Alex asked incredulously.
"All I'm trying to tell you is that I've seen thousands of boys all over the country, and not one of them looks as much like the Grand Duke as you- I mean, look at the portrait!" Diana threw her hand out at the painting before them.
Alex poked her in the chest. "I knew you were crazy from the beginning, but now I think you are both mad!"

I've been wanting to draw this scene for a while now, sorry if the portrait in the background behind Alex looks a bit crappy, my hand was hurting a little bit, but I like how this turned out! also I kinda edited the portrait, like I rotated it and recolored Alexei's hair (also Anastasia's since they said her hair was a strawberry blonde color).
