I get this terrible/exciting feeling in the pit of my stomach upon simply reading that title, and I get the idea that that creature could easily dangle a body from its claws, alone.
You remain one of the best artists I've seen, if only for your ability to conquer the painting of fur.
I guess when you do fantasy that you have no shortage of subjects to practice such technical bits as painting fur. I always love seeing the result.

I love all of the little details, like the saliva.. well.. the inside of the mouth in general.. and the subtle glow over the animal and his surroundings..
Im not sure what else to say except that this is one of the best ware-wolf type creatures I've ever seen
