After Aria had finished her initial magic training under Rachel, her teacher wanted to celebrate it being a full year since Aria received the necklace that started all of this.

So as a treat, Rachel regressed Aria into a five year old, to have a day without responsibilities. So Aria spent the day as a child, playing as one, being dressed up, walking through the Manor as Rachel held her hand. Rachel even got the opportunity to play "Mom" for the day.

Yet with all magic, there are sometimes... aftereffects to certain spells. Here being that it acted as a reset of sorts for Aria, de-aging her, resetting her mind and body, making her truly a child rather than an adult. She truly was a child again.
