Description Took a whack at drawing one of two Transformer OCs that lurk in my brain from time to time. This is Crossdrift. I'm not sure if Cross is a mech or femme, but I imagine a lovely alto voice like Xena, so I will call her a she in this description. She has a buoyant personality, very curious about everything. Her movements are very bird- or raptor-like, head bobbing on a long neck with forearms off the ground, but if needing to cross long distances in bot-form, she will run on all fours. Bot-wise she is very small, maybe standing 9 feet tall while relaxed on her hind legs.

On Earth, Cross's alt mode is a Suzuki GSX-R motorbike, not sure of the precise model, but a picture can be seen here . I drew Cross here with teeny doorwings, as one of the OCs is Praxian, but I'm not certain which. If it is Cross that is Praxian, those doorwings fold down to become the motorbike's side panels, which envokes the pleasing imagery that she is wrapping wings around herself like a cloak in alt mode. Other design influences I borrowed from Stargate SG-1's Anubis- and Serpent-Guards, as well as the Hork-Bajir from Animorphs.

And just to be fun, if Crossdrift was in TF: Beast Wars, her alt mode would likely be a small (but still scaled-up) dinosaur such as Troodon, or some sort of bird, except I can't think of a modern bird that really fits.

And because its not likely I will draw her partner (team partner, not mate), his name is Trapstrike, usually called Trapper, a sturdy mech who takes the form of a 2-door 2005-model Honda civic or accord, mainly grey with silver and blue offsets, with small spoiler on the trunk. It's always amused me that Cybertronians are always found as flashy cars, when the whole purpose of alt-modes is to blend in and hide. Anyways. Trapper is a bit more patient and rational than Crossdrift, more of a thinker and planner than a rash actor. And I keep picturing Paul Hogan as his voice ala Croc Dundee. Trapper's also small for his class, 16 feet tall, about the size of Bumblebee in the Bayverse movies. He's also more likely the Praxian, if only because the doors would make more sense than tiny wings on Crossdrift. If he were in Beast Wars, his alt mode would either be a grey wolf, or a great grey owl, depending on Praxian lineage.

And now that I've bored you all to tears, off I go to lament being unable to draw these better or explain their bot-forms for a commission.
