Description
Not a big fan of what Rise did with Splinter. Rather than being a father figure and an experienced master, he is depicted as childish and lazy. While he does get better in the finale episodes. It still doesn't make sense at where they went with him. The best master splinter (at least imho) is most definitely 2012's Splinter. He is not only a very compitent master, he is also a fantastic father figure of the turtles.

For his design, not only did I based him off 12's splinter, but I also based him off of Pai Mei from Killbill with hints of Michael bay to him.

Anyways, this is master splinter.

Splinter was a rat that belonged to a pet shop owner called Hamato Yoshi. Hamato would always excercise and train, with Splinter watching him. Hamato would always bring Splinter to his petshop, feeling that the domesticated rat would grant him good luck. Then one day at work, Hamato was visited by a bunch of people led by a human called Oroku Saki. Oroku and his men attack Hamato and started burning down the petshop. Oroku would then kill Hamato, causing splinter to escape from his cage and claw Oroku's face. Splinter would be thrown off and had his ear chopped. When the fire died down, all he could see is the corpse of his owner. He was then found by two scientists where he was not only cared for, but experimented. He would then bump into four baby turtles and play with a little girl called April. But then the laboratory would then burn down. Splinter would rescue the baby turtles and escape in the sewers, raising them as his own. Then one day, they would start mutating into humanoid animals. With his observation of Hamato, he would train the turtles with the skills he learnt from his owner. He knew that one day, Oroku would come back and face him once more.

Splinter's main weapon of choice is a jade-staff. He forged it with spiritual energy. Inside the staff lies a sword that he would use for battle
