Human Federation Army, aka HFA or Federal Army, is one of the military branches of Human Federation Armed Forces. It is the first military branch that founded in 1400 A.E.

In 1450 A.E., after the defeat of Nezha-Human War, or Battle of Pontava, the king of Human Land decided to modernize the Army. In 1600 A.E., in the middle of the territorial expansion, the demand of manpower for garrison of newly established provinces was high, the personnel was increased to 250 thousand. By the year of 1750 A.E. when Human Federation was established, it increased to 400~500 thousand. Today, the total personnel is over 1.5 million, along with 7500 tanks, 12000 armored vehicles, 4000 towed artillery, 2500 self-propelled howitzers, and 8000 MLRS manufactured.

During the Cold War, they are mainly tasked to defend Federal soil from Equestria-Mystic Alliance's aggression, and invade Equestrian Mainland if necessary. However, after Human Federation reestablished the friendship to the EMA, that was cancelled. During the Mystic Civil War, the president plans to send five army divisions to reinforce the EMA if the situation is out of control. They are Human Fedearation 1st Armored Division, Human Federation 82nd Airborne Division, Human Federation 7th Marine Division and Human Federation 21st, 22nd Infantry Division.
