True story: the VA Comic Con was across the parking lot from the VA Alpaca Show this year. Yes, I did run back and forth between the two. Best weekend ever.

It's a fluffier llama. Also, it's one of only a handful of domesticated animals native to the Americas (guinea pigs, corn snakes [shaky at best], turkeys [same as corn snakes], and llamas are the others [unless you want to count American buffalo, passenger pigeons, salmon, alligators, several species of parrot, king snakes, and a few others which are farmed {for meat/hide or pet trade} but not really domesticated {which is why corn snakes and turkeys are shaky; they're closer to true domestication than the others, but their status is still debated}]).
