Instead of asking "what makes the most sense?", try asking "what do I believe?" No one's right but if everyone came up with their own religion and compared and contrasted them with each other, we'd be a lot closer to the truth. That's what I believe, anyway.

I hope you can find some more graceful people to hang around ... I've encountered this very thing in the past, and I'm thankful to say that I'm now amongst people who are "on a journey" together, and totally ok with not agreeing 100% on legalistic minutiae ... they know we're each full of differences, weaknesses, strengths, etc... I feel like I can be myself and not get my "tushie" all "ouchie" over it

This is my thoughts on the Tumblr Social Movement. I can agree with some ideas, but some of them are just outlandish, counterproductive, and even hateful and untrue. Which is why I tend to keep out of politics or the most part.

Been there, done that. I remember once telling a classmate (I think I was in High School at the time) that I believed in evolution, and the person looked shocked and said "I didn't realize you didn't believe in God?". And I'm goingΒ "Wait...what? I didn't even say that..."

That last little sentence is something I do not believe some people--be it religious, political or social issues--want to hear O_O

Thus why I define myself as "spiritual but not religious" I have yet to find a religion that agrees with my morality and worldview on the more important points... usually they miss at least two of the big ones (which can generally be lumped into; be kind, good and understanding and recognize all human beings as people of worth and value, no one above the other. no types above any other, so long as they're happy and not hurting anyone allow them to enjoy their lives as they see fit.).
I've actually had people get ticked that I self describe that way, but religious implies member of a religion, which I am not, and likely will never be.
