But seriously, don't assign so much value to "attention from the internet". It really does NOTHING for you beyond a shallow, and oftentimes crippling, ego boost. And getting bitter that other people are getting it is only gonna turn you into a troll. You have too much potential for that.

Projecting much? That's a really an unhealthy attitude, my young friend. Favs and comments don't pay the electric bill, so if I was gonna use my valuable time on a cynical scheme to make people feel good for my own sinister purposes I'd at least get some cash for it. Is it really so strange to you that a person may want to genuinely make others happy? That's pretty sad.
