Description
Belief in magic is, of course, as old as mankind. People have always believed you could use magic to improve your crop or heal illnesses. In Greek and Roman times belief in magic was widespread. However it was not always used for good. People believed they could use magic to harm by causing sickness or misfortune. Some Roman emperors banned magic, fearing it might be used against them.

It's true magic can be used to harm. Though most people with magic are smart enough not to. Because of the natural balance, what is sent out returns. So it's quite masochistic to know that natural law and send out harm anyway lol
I'm sure I'll get more than a few rude replies to this... From people saying "oh magic doesn't exist you're just crazy" Ah well. And people dont believe ghosts exist either -sigh-

A majority of pre-modern society 'magik' is just alchemy. Hence why there was the Brotherhood of the Alchemist. Magic is 'real' to some degree, but it's chemistry with a funny name.

When I say magic I don't mean potions and spells and such.
i don't need items to do things. Though using items (like a candle) means the magic has more of an effect...
you don't have to believe me, I don't care if you don't. I know my experiences and so I know what I know to be true.
