Description
A quote that I came up with myself while thinking about some personal things. I decided that I wanted to write it down, make it look good, and show it to other people and inspire them to also be happy despite what may be wrong in their lives.
Color Choices: I took my colors from the flags of the two sexualities stated, which are here ([link] ). Gay is a rainbow, straight is black and white, but I chose to make the straight shades of grey because even being straight there is no black and white, but shades of grey and so many variations.

I like this a lot, size, italics, colors, but there's one or two too many fonts to make it look really finished. It makes it just a slight bit too busy. Otherwise I love it! Try narrowing it down with the fonts and instead play more with the size and thickness of the font. That will allow you to make emphasis where you need it without your eyes going everywhere, confused about where they should look. Just my two cents, which probably aren't worth too much. Great job!

I can agree with that. I think if I were to change it, I would change the words "simply chosen" to the font at the top of the quote. The italics are actually the same font as the words/letters around them, it just looks almost completely different. Thank you for telling me what you think!

It would, but some of the fonts are personal use only, so I would have to change about half the style of it to do that.

I've actually worked around the font licensing issues and I can now actually use them for commercial use. I'm looking into setting up a place to put these on sale as shirts and posters soon.

Interesting how the word "happy" is in rainbow letters, when it's not supposed to be a choice.

Only having the word *Happy* written in rainbow letters instead of b&w, completely changes the original message into "I'm choosing to be gay".

well, if the speaker of this choice is gay, and is choosing to be exactly who they are AND being happy, then it fits perfectly. After all, why should they change who they are to be happy?
I personally think that if you are making yourself something you aren't you can't possibly be happy.

I have this one friend who's gay, and he grew up in a small town that was pretty prejiduce. A lot of people there would tell him things about how 'Jesus could save him from his homosexuality,' and 'it was all a choice.'
One day, we ran into a small group of protesters outside a mall that was allowing gays to shop there, and we were about to completely break down. But then we saw a guy unloading boxes into a store, and we asked if we could use one he wasn't. After he gave us a couple pieces of cardboard, we wrote things on them like 'I'm with stupid,' and 'A$$H0LES,' and you know what?
They went away. And me and my friends got to enjoy our day at the mall!
