Description
Stegosaurus stenops, meaning "narrow-faced roof lizard", was named by Marsh in 1887, with the holotype having been collected by Marshall Felch at Garden Park, north of Cañon City, Colorado, in 1886.Lived: 163.5 million years ago - 100.5 million years ago (Late Jurassic - Albian)
