I was referring to the shading afer setting down the flat colors. Thats something that I've been wanting to really get a grip on for once I start getting into it. I feel that it is def going to be one of the hardest things for me to grasp

I'm not sure if this answers your question bud, but I just make a separate layer for the shading and lightings and everything and that's it, that's how it ends. I'm sorry I'm not good at tutorial...huhuhu I can't put it into proper words...
